Español 2 Essential Outcomes
The following essential outcomes are things that we hope to master in Spanish 2.
· The student will be able to describe vacation activities and the geography of different places in the past and present.
· The student will be able to plan and describe traveling on planes, and automobiles, and on foot.
· The student will be able to plan and describe leisure activities including sporting events, exercise and movies.
· The student will be able to discuss daily routines.
· The student will be able to talk about food in the setting of a restaurant and a market.
· The student will be able to describe physical and psychological attributes including body parts and feelings.
· The student will be able to communicate using simple preterit tense.
· The student will be able to refer to things and people being discussed using direct object, indirect object and reflexive pronouns.
· The student will be able to narrate events in the past.
· The students will be able to describe life in a city.
· The student will be able to give instructions and recommendations.
· The students will be able to express hopes and desires.
· The student will be able to describe the historical importance of native civilizations in South America.
· The student will be able to compare/ contrast travel in the U.S. and Hispanic countries including similarities, differences, political/geographic obstacles.
