Español IV  Essential Outcomes 
The following essential outcomes are things that we hope to master in Spanish 4.

·       The student will be able to describe things happening in the past.

·       The student will be able to refer to things already mentioned using pronouns.

·       The student will be able to discuss Spanish art.
·       The student will be able to discuss the importance and influence of  various forms of news media.
·       The student will be able to describe travel on an airplane.
·       The students will be able to discuss vacation plans in Hispanic countries.
·       The student will be able to discuss technology and media.
·       The student will be able to describe hobbies, games, and leisure activities.
·       The student will be able to predict what will happen in the future.
·       The student will be able to describe his or her plans for college.
·       The student will be able to express emotional reactions to what others do.
·       The student will be able to describe possible future occupations and plans.
·       The student will be able to interview for a job answering questions about his or her present, past, future and aspirations.
·       The student will be able to talk about probable events.
·       The student will be able to write a well-constructed research paper.
·       The student will be able to give a 5-minute speech about a topic of his or her choice.
·       The student will be able to read an abridged Hispanic novel.
